LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Three women's golf teams from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference competed last week.
Centenary College hosted the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate last week, finishing third in the field of five. Jessica Varner led the team with a two-round score of 164 for fourth place. The Ladies recorded a team score of 718 (356-362).
Southwestern University competed at the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate, placing 10th out of 23 teams. The Pirates were led by Emily Campbell and Leilani McDaniel who tied for 22nd place with scored of 234 over the three rounds.
Trinity University also traveled last week, heading west for the George Fox Westbrook Invitational. The Tigers took fourth place in the event, carding a 638 over the 36 holes. Trinity was led by Emilee Strausburg, who finished in a tie for eighth place with a score of 152.
