Trinity's Zach Garcia Elected for D3soccer.com All-America Men's Team

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Trinity University Tigers junior midfielder Zach Garcia was elected to the first-ever D3soccer.com All-America Men's Team.

Garcia made the All-America Second Team. Previously, Garcia was honored as a National Soccer Coaches Association of America First Team recipient. He also was named to the All-Region Team, and the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference
Team.

Garcia, the SCAC Offensive Player of the Year, scored 12 goals (two game-winners) and accounted for five assists.

The Tigers, led by 20th-year Head Coach Paul McGinlay, completed the 2010 season with a 19-3-1 record, and an 11-0-0 SCAC mark.  Trinity won the SCAC Championship, and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Division III postseason tournament.
