JACKSON LEHNER OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore from Boston, Mass., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Wednesday, September 14 through Tuesday, September 20. SCAC Golf Release (Week 2)
Lehner, along with teammate Karsten Paciotti, finished tied for sixth among a field of 100 golfers, at the Rhodes College Fall Invitational. Lehner fired a final round 68 – the third-lowest round of the day – to charge nine places up the leaderboard and finish with a three-round total of 214 (-2). He and Paciotti were two of just nine players to finish the tournament under par and the only competing conference players to do so.
No one went pin-seeking like Lehner on the four par 3s scattered across the Tunica National Course as the sophomore led the field by a whopping four shot margin, finishing at six under on par 3s over the three rounds.
