Three SCAC schools, Centenary, Southwestern and Trinity, received honors for both programs while Colorado College and Dallas were recognized on the men's side and Texas Lutheran on the women's.
Colorado College's selection on the men's side marks the 13th consecutive year the Tigers have been honored. It was the second consecutive year the men's programs at Dallas, Southwestern and Trinity have been recognized. On the women's side, the Texas Lutheran women have earned the honor for the third consecutive year while Centenary, Southwestenr and Trinity have received All-Academic team recogntion for two straight years.
A total of 992 college teams (345 men, 647 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 257 schools who had both their men’s and women’s programs among the recipients.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of high school and college soccer teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2018-19 academic year.
