Five SCAC Men's Golfers Named GCAA All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) released the NCAA Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars on Thursday, June 18, and five Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) individuals were selected as honorees.

Texas Lutheran and Trinity each placed student-athletes on the list. Three Bulldogs earned recognition including senior Nathan Haley, junior Matthew McArthur, and sophomore Chase Maus, while Trinity netted senior Tucker Norris and junior Bryce Pidgeon.   

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior academically in addition to posting a stroke average under 79.0 as a Division III player average while competing in at least 40 percent of the team's competitive rounds, and maintain a minimum 3.2 cumulative grade point average.
