SHREVEPORT, La. - Colorado College's Andrew Maddock set a SCAC single-game tournament record with 46 points and the Tigers survived an overtime thriller to advance to Sunday's title game with a 93-83 victory over Austin College. Official Tournament Website
Maddock's 46 points also tied a school single-game record as he hit on 16-of-22 shots from the field and was a perfect 14-of-14 from the charity stripe. His 12 rebounds was a single-game season high. Colorado College shot 50.0 percent from the field (31-62) - the 10th time this season the league's best shooting team has hit on 50.0 percent or more of its attempts from the floor.

- Colorado College outscored Austin College 17-10 in overtime to ice the victory.
- Austin College's Igbinosa and Sullivan fouled out in regulation and Freet followed in overtime.
- Austin College led 73-67 when Alan Sullivan hit a jumper with 2:32 to play in regulation, but Colorado College tied the game with a 7-1 run that ended with a Maddock layup with 1:25 to go.
- Colorado College outscored Austin College 52-30 in the paint.
- The game was well played with just 15 total turnovers through regulation and one overtime period. Austin College committed eight turnovers and Colorado College had seven.

- The last two players to score 46 points in a game from Colorado College were Lynn Cherepy against Colorado Christian University in 1996, and Elliott Broadnax against Grinnell College in 1999.
- Maddock also set two other SCAC single-game tourament records. He set a record for most field goals (16) and free throw percentage - hitting on 14-of-14 for a perfect 100.0 percent.
- The 46 points by Maddock are the third-most by a SCAC student-athlete in a game involving a SCAC team. Although Saturday's game is not considered a conference game, the 46 points are the most points scored by a player in a game that pitted two conference teams againast each other.
- Berardino was just one rebound shy of a triple-double.
- Austin College ends its season with a 16-11 record.
