GREENWOOD, ind. – Senior midfielder Kaity Ward of the No. 24th ranked Trinity University women's soccer squad was selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team. Complete Academic All-District Release
Ward was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American in the Spring of 2021 but this is the first time the senior has been selected to this prestigious team.
The midfielder has led the Tigers to a record of (14-2-1, 7-1-0 SCAC) and is ready to lead the Tigers in their upcoming NCAA Division III Regional Tournament. Ward has scored 17 goals and dished out 11 assists so far this season. The senior was also crowned the SCAC Tournament Offensive MVP after leading Trinity to it's 25th overall SCAC Championship.
The Tigers will take on Hardin Simmons University on Saturday, November 13th at 11:00 p.m. at Paul McGinlay Field.
