LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Conference play was in full force this weekend, as the seven SCAC men's soccer teams faced off this week.
Five teams won at least one conference game this week, including Southwestern University, Texas Lutheran University and Trinity University who all went 2-0.
Colorado College dropped the weekend opener to Trinity, but earned a win over Schreiner University Sunday. The University of Dallas had the same fate, defeating the Mountaineers on Friday before falling to the second-ranked Tigers Sunday.
Based on points, Southwestern sits atop the conference standings with a perfect nine points, folowed by Trinity (2-0), Colorado College (2-1) and Texas Lutheran (2-1), all with six.
Austin College and Dallas moved to 1-2 this weekend, while Centenary College and Schreiner both fell in their respective matches.
