LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Three conference men's tennis teams were on the court this past week for the beginning of the spring portion of the 2016-17 season.
The 14th-ranked Trinity men went 2-1 with 9-0 victories over Birmingham-Southern and Hardin-Simmons before dropping a dropping a 7-0 decision to Division II Abilene Christian.
Southwestern and Texas Lutheran were also in action. The Pirates dropped its dual-match season opener to NCAA Division II 24th-ranked St. Edward's, 5-4, on Friday night. Texas Lutheran
