LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Week two produced another huge slate of non-conference battles for the league's eight volleyball programs.
Four SCAC teams posted perfect 4-0 weeks, including #5 Colorado College and #11 Southwestern University, who both improved to 8-0 overall.
Colorado College won its own CC Invitational with victories over Occidental, Springfield, #14 University of Texas-Dallas and Whitman.
Southwestern swept through the Trinity University Fall Classic without losing a single set, picking up victories over Mary Hardin-Baylor, Whitworth, Pacific Lutheran and Whittier.
Trinity (6-2) also swept the same four teams at its Fall Classic as senior setter Erika Edrington earned Tournament MVP honors after posting double-doubles in three of the Tigers' four matches. She had 29 assists and 13 digs against Pacific Lutheran, 39 assists and 10 digs against Mary Hardin-Baylor and 29 assists and 10 digs against Whitworth.
Texas Lutheran (6-2) rolled to a perfect 4-0 record at the team's own Bulldog Classic. After defeating Howard Payne and Hardin-Simmons in four games on Friday, TLU dispatched Linfield (Ore.) in four and Lewis & Clark (Ore.) in three on Saturday.
