LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Four of the seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis teams competed last week.
#28 Southwestern University recorded its 18th and 19th wins of the season over the past week, defeating a pair of regionally-ranked teams, Hardin-Simmons University and McMurry University. The Pirates win streak is now at 19 matches, with their last and only loss of the season coming more than two months ago.
Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University faced off for the first time this season, with the Mountaineers picking up the victory, 6-3.
Colorado College also competed this weekend, going 1-1 against pair of NCAA Division II opponents. The Tigers defeated Colorado State - Pueblo, 5-4, but fell to Metro State, 9-0.
