Schechter, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, and Barragan, a senior from La Porte, Texas, picked up a point at No. 2 doubles for the Mountainners, defeating LeTourneau's duo of Alex Barrero and Brayden Money, 8-3, on Friday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Aashish Dhanani and junior Eric Liao of Trinity were tied at 4-4 against Abilene Christian at the No. 1 line when the doubles point was clinched, leaving their match unfinished. The duo had picked up a pair of victories earlier in the week in matches that were labeled either exhibition or were against a two-year program.
