LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Sophomore designated hitter Chase Allen and senior Colton Seeton of Southwestern University has been named SCAC Baseball Players of the Week for their outstanding performance this past weekend.

CHASE ALLEN OF
SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore designated
hitter from LaPorte, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April
21st through Sunday, April 27th.
Allen led Southwestern to their fourth win in a
row going in the SCAC Tournament, defeating Hardin-Simmons in the
regular season fianle, 6-5.
Allen belted his first home run of the season,
finishing 2-for-5 with three RBIs and a run scored in the
win.
His three-run homer helped Southwestern to its 14th win of the
seasonh, quadrupling their win total from last season with the
victory.

COLTON SEETON
OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior left handed
pitcher from Midlothian, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 21st
through Sunday, April 27th.
Seeton pitched two innings of relief for the
Pirates in their only game last week helping Southwestern earn a
6-5 win over Hardin-Simmons.
The senior reliever pitched two innings out of the bullpen and
allowed just one run while striking out two.
Seeton’s outing helped the Pirates more
than quadruple their win total from last season with the
victory.
