LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Freshman Heba Abdel-Rahim of Southwestern University has been named SCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her outstanding performance this past week.

HEBA ABDEL-RAHIM OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Katy, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week for all matches through Sunday, April 20th.
Abdel-Rahim led Southwestern to a 5-4 come from behind win over Colorado College this past weekend which led to the Pirates earning the No. 2 seed in this weekend's SCAC Women's Tennis Tournament.
Abdel-Rahim found herself and teammate Marieke
Visser found themselves down 6-3 and went on to complete a
great come-from-behind victory to win 9-7 and give Southwestern
line doubles point.
Abdel-Rahim then went on to clinch the match at No. 5
singles, breaking the 4-4 tie to give the Pirates the 5-4 win.
