LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Freshman Hanna Niner of Trintiy University has been named SCAC Women's Golfer of the Week after a terrific performance this past weekend among the nation's elite at the Jekyll Island Collegiate.

HANNA NINER OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Keller, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 18th.
Niner led the Trinity women's golf team to a seventh place finish at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, a tournament that consists of over 20 of the top teams in Division III.
Niner set the tone early in the week, shooting an opening round score of 78 to sit in fourth place and followed that up with a day two score of 77 to remain in a tie for fourth.
Niner wrapped up the individual tournament, consisting of some 120 golfers, with a 5-over-par 77 for a sixth-place finish. Niner's scorecard read 232, an impressive score among the elite, at the end of the competition.
