LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Freshman Taylor Thompson of Centenary College has been named SCAC Women's Golfer of the Week after a terrific performance this past weekend to lead the team.

TAYLOR THOMPSON OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a freshman from Baton Rouge, La., has been selected the SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, April 1st.
Thompson led the Centenary women's golf team to a third place finish at the LeTourneau Spring Classic in Longview, Texas.
Thompson paced the Maroon and White with 158 to finish tied for third with California Lutheran’s Jenna Gimbel and Danika Cochiolo.
Thompson improved her first round total by six strokes to gather a 76 in the final round.
