LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Colorado College senior guard Ryan Milne has been selected as SCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second straight week after another terrific effort this past weekend.

COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior guard from Phoenix,
Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 25th
through Sunday, December 1st.
Milne averaged 20 points and five assists per
game while leading Colorado College to a pair of victories in the
2013 ACM Classic at Reid Arena last weekend.
He was named tournament MVP for the second week in a
row.
During Friday’s 71-77 overtime victory against Carleton
College, Milne poured in 17 of his game-high 25
points in the second half to help the Tigers wipe out a six-point
halftime deficit, and he scored four more in overtime to clinch the
triumph.
In Sunday’s 81-65 win over No. 16 Whitworth,
Milne, who scored 15 points and dished out six
assists with no turnovers. It was Colorado College’s second
win over a ranked Whitworth team this season.
During that contest, Milne climbed into 10th
place on the program’s all-time scoring list with 1,178
points and up to seventh with 166 three-point buckets.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman guard Brian
Baehl of Austin College scored 12 points, hitting 8-of-9
free throws, and added two rebounds, two assists, and a steal in
Austin College’s only game last week. Senior guard AJ Myres of
Schreiner led the Mountaineers to a 1-2 week with 67 points
(22.3ppg), 11 rebounds and nine assists. He had 26 points, two
rebounds and three assists in the game vs. Rhodes. Freshman guard Benjamin Stiver of
Southwestern was perfect from the floor, going 4-4 from the
field and 3-3 from three point range, sparking a huge second half
surge for the Pirates and catapulting them to a win over UMHB.
Junior guard Garrett
Wilkins of Texas Lutheran continued to score the basketball
at an impressive clip, leading the team with 15 points on 6-of-13
shooting from the field and 3-of-4 shooting from the charity
stripe. Senior post
Jonathan Wilt of Trinity finished with 12 points on 4-5
shooting from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line. He
also added five boards and a pair of assists for the Tigers.
Centenary and Dallas were idle this past week.
