Trinity improved to 15-8 and will face off against the winner of this afternoon's second semifinal against Southwestern University and Colorado College in tomorrow's championship match scheduled to follow the women's final, which gets underway at 2 p.m. CT. This will be Trinity's 32nd consecutive trip to the SCAC men's tennis finals and the Tigers are 26-4 in those previous appearances (the 1997 final was not played due to inclement weather). Trinity has won 13 consecutive SCAC men's tennis championships.

Schreiner falls to 6-12 after returning to the SCAC semifinals for the first time since 2021.

In Saturday evening's semifinal battle, Aashish Dhanani and Conor Kaczmarczyk got the Tigers on the board quickly with an 8-0 decision at the No. 3 line. Dalton Locke and Rob Chang and Jared Perry and Ethan Flores followed at the No. 2 and No. 1, winning 8-2 and 8-3 respectively to give Trinity a 3-0 doubles sweep.

Needing just two points to clinch, Dhanani put the Tigers on the doorstep with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Schreiner’s Jackson Pogue at No. 5 singles and Flores slammed the door shut at the No. 4 line with his 6-1, 6-0 victory over Cole Reed.
