GREENWOOD, Ind. – Trinity University women's soccer standout Bailey Meyer was chosen for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Team for the second straight year, as announced on Wednesday.

Meyer was a Third Team CSC Academic All-American this season, following her selection to the Second Team in 2022. She is the first Tiger student-athlete to win the award twice since Trinity women's golfer Brigette Lee did so in 2015 and 2016. It also marks the third straight year that Trinity women's soccer has had at least one student-athlete of the team. The successful Tiger program also had three straight years with winners from 2008-10 and 2012-14.

This season, Meyer was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the third straight time and earned her fifth All-SCAC award – including four straight years on the First Team. Meyer is a two-time All-American in 2021 and 2022, earning the honors from both the United Soccer Coaches and D3soccer.com. She is also a two-time United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American and Scholar All-Region performer (2021, 2022), who was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team for the third straight year in 2023.

Trinity finished the season with a 12-5-2 overall record and a perfect 7-0-0 mark in SCAC play under the direction of Head Coach Dylan Harrison, who completed his eight year with the Tigers. Trinity won the SCAC Regular Season Championship and the SCAC Tournament to reach the NCAA III Playoffs for the 14th straight season.
