For the seventh consecutive year, Centenary College, Southwestern University, Texas Lutheran Univeristy and Trinity University will meet with the league's baseball title on the line. Trinity is the defending champion, having won the event in 2019. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the championship was not contested in 2020.
The nation's top-ranked team, Trinity (25-5 overall; 12-2 SCAC) earned the top seed for this year's event and will take on 20th-ranked and fourth-seeded Centenary College (30-9 overall; 14-7 SCAC) in Friday's first game, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. Second-seeded Texas Lutheran (25-11; 15-3) and third-seeded Southwestern (18-17; 13-5) will play in Friday's second game, which is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT.
The double elimination tournament begins Friday, May 7 at The Depot at Cleburne Station in Cleburne, Texas and continues through Sunday, May 9. All games will be live streamed through the league's partnershp with Sportsgram.
