HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sam Davis’ unassisted goal in the 34th minute off a corner kick was the difference for Southwestern. The goal by Davis was her first of the season.
- Southwestern’s Johnna Campbell posted the shutout in goal, her fifth of the season.
- Southwestern dominated possession, especially in the first half, when the Pirates held a 13-1 shooting advantage. For the game, Southwestern outshot Austin College, 19-4, including a 12-3 edge in shots on goal.
- The Pirates also held the advantage in corner kicks, 8-0.
