VANCE FEUERBACHER OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a sophomore linebacker from Plano, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, October 5. SCAC Football Release (Week 5)
Feuerbacher had a stellar night for the Gents on Saturday in their 35-14 home conference win over Lyon College, leading the team in tackles with 10 solo tackles (13 total tackles). The sophomore also had a 32-yard interception return for a touchdown and had one pass breakup.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore linebacker Sean Blanks of Texas Lutheran had five tackles and was credited with half a sack as the Bulldogs held off Austin College, 43-34 on Saturday. He also had one pass breakup.
