MT. PLEASANT, Mich. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) placed 13 student-athletes on the American Baseball Coaches Association all-region teams. Millsaps placed a league-high four players on the all-region teams followed closey by Birmingham-Southern, Rhodes and Trinity all with two selections each.
The SCAC was well reprsented. Not only did 13 student-athletes make the all-region teams, but seven of the league's 11 teams had at least one student-athlete selected. DePauw (1), Hendrix (1), and Oglethorpe (1) joined Millsaps, Birmingham-Southern, Rhodes and Trinity with being represented on the all-region teams.
Four student-athletes were named First-Team All-Region including Birmingham-Southern's Sam Hill (South Region C), Millsaps' Hunter Owen (South Region OF), Oglethorpe's Daniel Sarisky (South Region P), and Rhodes' Mason Mosby (South Region OF).
