TOWSON, Md. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference placed three student-athletes on the 2009 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Men's Track and Cross Country teams. Trinity University's Zach Brush and Todd Wildman headlined the list as first-team selections.
Brush, a sophomore from Edmond Okla., was named to the District VI First-Team as he maintained a 3.62 Grade Point Average (GPA) as an Engineering Science major.
Wildman, a senior from Dallas, Texas, was also named to the District VI First-Team. The 2009 Division III Indoor National Champion in the Pentathlon, Wildman carried a 3.66 GPA as a Business Administration and Accounting major.
In addition to Brush and Wildman, Colorado College's Logan Boccard was named to the District VII Second-Team. Boccard, a senior from Broomfield, Colo., maintained a 3.89 GPA as a Biology major.
