STERLING, Va. - Sophomore punter/defensive back
Josh Willis of Austin College was named to D3football.com's
National Team of the Week for games played on Saturday, October
11.
Willis punted four times for a 43.8-yard average
and also forced and recovered a fumble, intercepted two passes and
tallied eight tackles (six solo) from his defensive backfield
position.
Willis forced and recovered a fumble on Austin's
10-yard line with the ‘Roos clinging to a 23-20 lead late in
the third quarter. He also intercepted a pass at Austin's 3-yard
line with the ‘Roos leading 33-20 late in the game to
preserve the 33-22 win.
