MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Sophomore Hillary Relyea was chosen as the www.womensfieldhockey.com Division III Player of the Week for her role in the Lynx wins over Fontbonne and Washington and Lee this past weekend.
Relyea scored three goals in two games, which included
both game-winning goals and two of the Lynx three goals in the
Washington and Lee upset.
The second-year player has already scored more goals than she
did in her entire freshman season and the Lynx look to her for even
greater things in the future. Relyea leads the Lynx and is
tied for second in the conference in scoring with four goals
in four games.
A national honor, Relyea is only the second Lynx player to earn
recognition from www.womensfieldhockey.com.
