SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Senior Bailey Meyer of No. 9/10 Trinity University Women's Soccer was named a second-team All-American by D3soccer.com last week.

Meyer led a Tiger defense that allowed just four goals in 24 games this season, posting the best goals-against average (0.165) in NCAA III this year. She was also named a first-team All-Region and All-America selection by United Soccer Coaches, making her a consensus NCAA III All-American in back-to-back seasons after second-team nods from both outlets for 2021.

Additionally, Meyer was named a Scholar All-American by United Soccer Coaches in December, along with Academic All-America from College Sports Communicators.

Wednesday's announcement marks the 58th overall All-American selection for Trinity Women's Soccer since 1994 with Meyer becoming the fifth Tiger in program history to earn four total selections, all of which have come since the 2010 campaign:

  • Emily Jorgens '15, seven selections
  • Abigail Loar '12, four selections
  • Kelsey Falcone '15, four selections
  • Kristen Canepa '20, four selections

Trinity is led by Head Coach Dylan Harrison, who completed his seventh season with a 21-1-2 overall record. The Tigers won the SCAC Championship to qualify for the NCAA III Playoffs, advancing to the Third Round before taking its first loss of the season in a 1-0 defeat to Christopher Newport University.
