LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball student-athletes were named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District® Baseball teams, as selected and announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
All three honorees on the prestigious team came from Trinity University. Michael Bentz, a senior geoscience major carried a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.84. Pat Hirschbert, a senior business administration/accounting major with a 3.83 GPA and senior Kevin Clements, a business administration/marketing major with a 3.31 GPA joined teammate Bentz as first-team selections.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
