MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Trinity University junior outfielder Pat Hirschberg was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for his play the week of March 4-10, the website announced today.
This marks the second time this season that Hirschberg has earned D3baseball.com Player-of-the-Week honors and the third time in four weeks that a Trinity student-athlete has been selected to the prestigious team.
Hirschberg, the SCAC Offensive Baseball Player-of-the-Week, batted .588 (10-for-17) in a 3-2 week for the Tigers. He had six extra base hits (four doubles, triple and a home run) for a 1.118 slugging percentage, and scored five times and drove in seven.
Hirschberg is the first player this season to repeat on the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.
