Blount joined Rose-Hulman's Bryan Egli, who was named SCAC Player-of-the-Year in 1998-99, as the only players to earn league POTY honors in his team's first season of competition in the conference.

Lambert, a junior forward from Frisco, Texas, averaged a team-high 15.0 points (fourth in the SCAC) and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Tigers. A two-time All-SCAC selection, Lambert led his Trinity squad to a 20-8 mark, which included both the SCAC regular season and tournament titles, and a spot in the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament where he pitched in a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds in an 87-83 first-round loss to Concordia (Texas) University.
