Southwestern 14th; Trinity 18th in Golfworld WGCA Coaches Poll
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Southwestern University women slipped two places to 14th and the Trinity University women improved three slots to 18th in the latest Golfworld WGCA coaches poll – the second ranking of the 2013 spring season.

The Centenary College (La.) women received the fourth-most votes of any program outside the Top 25.

In its last outing, Southwestern placed sixth out of 21 teams at the prestigious Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate Invitational (3/15-3/17). Trinity University was ninth at the same event.

Centenary finished fourth at its own event, the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate (3/25-3/26), its last time out.

Methodist's claim to the No. 1 spot in the latest Golf World/WGCA women's Division III coaches' poll remained resolute, with the Monarchs claiming all 15 of 16 first-place votes. The D-III juggernaut has three victories in five starts and begins the toughest stretch of their 2012-13 schedule, with four tournaments slated in the next 30 days.

Also holding firm to their places near the top of the poll are No. 2 Washington U. of St. Louis, No. 3 Centre and No. 4 Mary Hardin-Baylor. DePauw rounds out the top five, moving up one spot from the previous poll.
