Trinity Remains Sixth in Latest D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -
Trinity University had the week off and held steady at sixth in the twelfth D3baseball.com Top 25 poll of the 2013 regular season.

The Tigers won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship for the the fifth time in the last eight years with a perfect 3-0 record the weekend of April 25-28 and are now 36-7 overall. Trinity has now won 31 of its last 36 games.

Linfield remained No. 1 with 613 points and was one of four teams to receive first place votes joining St. Thomas (Minn.), Trinity and Manchester (Ind.). Trinity totaled 463 points in the poll, one point ahead of No. 7 Ithaca.

Trinity opens up the 2013 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship West Regional with a game on May 15 against California Lutheran.
