Trinity moves up to fifth in NSCAA/Continental Tire Top 25 women's poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity University moved up two spots to fifth in the ninth regular season National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III top 25  women's poll.

The Tigers beat the Southwestern University 8-0 and will head to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament as the No. 1 seed. Trinity is now 8-1-1 in its last 10 matches and has allowed just eight goals in its 15 games (0.53 goals allowed per game).

Trinity improved to 12-1-2 and 8-0 in SCAC play. The Tigers return to action on Nov. 3 when they take on the winner of the Austin College vs. Centenary College SCAC quarterfinal match.

Trinity jumped up one spot to No. 6 in this week's D3soccer.com top 25 poll.
