MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Though the Trinity
University baseball team went 2-0 during the week, the Tigers fell
one spot from ninth to tenth in this week's D3baseball.com Top 25
poll.
The Tigers, who are now 26-7 overall and 11-5 in the SCAC, have
won 20 of their last 25 games and resume play today at Concordia
(Texas).
Kean took over top spot in the poll with 580 points and was one of six teams to receive first place votes joining Linfield, Salisbury, St. Thomas (Minn.), Johns Hopkins and defending national champion Marietta. Trinity totaled 391 points in the poll, just eight points behind No. 9 Ramapo.
Trinity resumes SCAC play on April 13-14 when the Tigers host the University of Dallas for the conclusion of their five game regular season series. Earlier this season, Trinity swept three games from the Crusaders in Irving.
