LUCY HANSEN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Gilbert, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Wednesday, October 11 through Tuesday, October 17. SCAC Golf Release (Week 5)
Hansen had the Tigers' low score in each round of the prestigious Golfweek October Classic, finishing in a tie for 15th with a three-day score of 225 (78-72-75). She was third in the field of more than 100 competitors in par 4 scoring for the 54-hole event. Hansen also had one of just four eagles in the tournament after holing out in two on the second hole of yesterday's round in which she shot even-par for the day. She finished the tournament with five total birdies to go with her eagle, tying for the team lead in under-par scores for the week.
