Krimbill ceded only three games between two matches for the Tigers on Saturday - winning his first match 6-1, 6-0 and his second match 6-0, 6-2 - to open NCAA III competition. The reigning ITA Regional Singles Champion set the tone in individual action last weekend with a pair of line-one victories en route to back-to-back team shutouts over in-region foes East Texas Baptist and Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Hunter Bajoit of Southwestern posted a convincing 6-3, 6-2 victory over Christopher Newport University's Alec Strause, the No. 19-ranked player in the Atlantic South Region. He finished the week with a 1-1 record, losing to Jhonny Acosta, the No. 3-ranked player in the nation. Junior Carson Kirk of Schreiner went undefeated in singles this weekend against New Mexico Military Institute Junior College and Howard Payne.
