GIORGIO GIANOULIS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a graduate student from Salt Lake City, Utah, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Sunday, September 29 through Tuesday, October 1. SCAC Golf Release (Week 3)
Gianoulis, along with his teammate Jacob Mason, both tied for fifth place individually to lead Trinity at 2024 Bulldog Fall Invitational, hosted by the University of Redlands at the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. The Tigers finished in second place as a team, edging their 11th-ranked hosts Redlands by two shots.
Both players shot 215 total for the three rounds, which put them at one-under par overall. Gianoulis opened with a career-low 67, then shot 76-72 in the next two rounds and finished with 10 birdies and an eagle. His first-round 67 tied for the third-lowest round of the event.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Matthew McKenzie of Schreiner bounced back from an opening round 78 to finish level par over the next 36 holes and post a three-round total of 222 (+6) to finish tied for 22nd at the Bulldog Fall Invitational.
