Flores led the ninth-ranked Tigers' men's tennis to a 2-1 record over the weekend, including a huge comeback win over seventh-ranked Washington University-St. Louis on Saturday. Flores went 3-0 in singles play over the week, earning a pair of three-set victories. He notched a three-set win as part of Trinity's 6-1 victory over Skidmore, then won another three-set thriller against Wash U. His 6-0, 6-7 (2), 6-2 victory at line five, tied the match 3-3 as part of a huge Tiger comeback.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Andrew Kaelin of Colorado College won the No. 1 singles match against Alejandro Jiminez of Division II Metro State, 7-5, 6-2, on Saturday. He is 9-5 at the No. 1 spot this season and has a three-match winning streak. First-year Rishi Rajesh of Southwestern earned a hard-fought 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 victory at No. 6 singles to close out the match agaisnt Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday. Senior Carson Kirk of Schreiner defeated Arturo Langle of Dallas Baptist, 6-1, 7-6 (5-0) at No. 1 singles, to earn the Mountaineers' only point of the match against the DII squad.
