Settles, a senior from Claremont, Calif., and Nguyen, a junior from Sugar Land, Texas, picked up a nationally-ranked victory in the Tigers' 5-4 comeback win over No. 7 Brandeis on the first day of the 2022 ITA Indoor National Championships. The pair nearly had a second on the weekend but fell 8-7 to No. 3 Washington (Mo.) 13th-ranked duo of Abhi Ramireddy and Daniel Li.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Carson Kirk and junior Dennis Miller of Schreiner picked up an 8-5 victory at No. 1 doubles in the Mountaineers' 6-1 victory over McMurry on Sunday.
