CASHTON HERRERA OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from New Braunfels, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 5 through Sunday, February 11. SCAC Men's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 2
Herrera went 2-0 at No. 3 singles on the week, picking up a 6-1, 6-4 victory over McMurry's Mason Bagwell on Friday, followed by a 6-1, 6-2 victory over LeTourneau's Alex Berrero on Saturday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Graduate Carson Kirk of Schreiner earned a victory at No. 1 singles against LeTourneua's Zach Farris (6-4. 6-2) on Friday.
