DIEGO VINTON OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Richmond, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played from Monday, February 27 through Sunday, March 5. SCAC Baseball Release - Week 4
Vinton was impactful as a reliever in the Bulldogs 9-5 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor last weekend. He allowed just one hit and struck out seven batters in five huge shutout innings in relief.
