Manke continued to lead the Bulldogs’ defensive effort, anchoring the midfield and protecting the backline as TLU extended its perfect start to the season to 11-0 after convincing SCAC wins at home over Schreiner (4-0) and No. 11 Trinity (2-0) last weekend. He helped TLU once again post a pair of shutouts, bringing the Bulldogs total to eight on the year, tied for third most in a single season in program history, now trailing only the 2003 and 2015 teams that posted 10. The Bulldogs have yet to give up a single goal in the run of play this season and currently hold the second-best goals against average in all of Div. III with a mark of 0.273. The win over Trinity is the first in regular season play since 2016 and the Bulldogs are 2-0 in SCAC play for the first time since 2019.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jasper Broad of Colorado College posted his first two shutouts of the season with a 5-0 victory over Centenary and a 1-0 upset over 8th-ranked St. Thomas. He had one save in approximately 72 minutes against Centenary, then made five against UST. Senior defender JonConnor Rule of Trinity led the No. 11 Tigers to a 1-1 record on the road to start SCAC play last weekend, registering the team's first shutout of the year in Friday's win over Southwestern.
