The Pirates improved to 14-6 and will face third-seeded Colorado College in tomorrow's semifinals. Texas Lutheran finishes the 2022 season with an 1-15 record.
Southwestern swept all three doubles matches, taking convincing 8-1 wins at both No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The top line squad of Vesko Kekovic and Hemanshu Rambojun earned an 8-2 win over TLU's Simon Carandang and Aaron Salinas to take the third point of the day.
Once singles play got underway, the Pirates continued their strong play as No. 1 Hunter Bajoit gave his squad their fourth point of the afternoon, earning a 6-1, 6-1 victory over the Bulldogs' Hunter-Kemball Cook. The matches at No. 3 and No. 5 ended simultaneously, as Lekovic contributed to his second point of the match with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3 over Dristan Weaver and Oscar Roy slammed the door on Salinas, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 5 singles.

Southwestern advances to face third-seeded Colorado College in the semifinals, currently scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the H-E-B Municipal Tennis Center. The Southwestern men have appeared in the semifinal round the last seven tournaments (the 2020 event was canceled). CC holds an all-time 3-1 edge against the Pirates in SCAC tournament play, but Southwestern did win the last match-up between the two in 2018.
