LAUREN CHISHOLM OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a first-year from Laurel, Miss., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 28 to Sunday, April 3. (SCAC Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 9)
Chisholm improved to a perfect 4-0 on the year in singles action, including an unblemished 3-0 mark in at the No. 4 singles line after securing a, 6-2, 6-1, win against non-conference foe UMHB. Her win over Victoria Rendon helped lift the Pirates to a flawless 9-0 team victory last Thursday .
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Hannah Reyna of Schreiner improved to 8-5 on the year at the top singles line, defeating Brynn Harmsen of UMHB, 6-4, 6-1, to help lift the Mountaineers to a 6-3 team victory last Wednesday.
