SAM DAVIS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from New Braunfels, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, October 31st. SCAC Women's Soccer Release (Week 9)
Davis continued to anchor one of the SCAC’s stingiest defenses, stifling the Texas Lutheran attack to post the Pirates’ ninth shutout of the season. She also added a goal on a penalty kick, helping to clinch the Pirates’ first regular-season SCAC title and undefeated conference record.
