NINA MITROFANOVA OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Conroe, Texas has been selected the SCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Saturday, January 29 to Sunday, February 6. SCAC Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 1
Mitrofanova went 1-1 on the week, culminating with Sunday's dominating 6-2, 6-2 win at No. singles over her NCAA Division I opponent, Isabelle Bahr of University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. Her loss the prior day was to another scholarship player, Delara Zamani of Division II UT-Tyler.

Junior Blair Drought-Villarreal of Schreiner posted a 1-1 week which included a victory over Tabor College's Tara Stewart, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
