DYLAN SULLIVAN OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Liberty Hill, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 1 through Sunday, April 7. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 6
For the second week in a row, Sullivan recorded a season's best and school record in the javelin. At the Mean Green Invitational at the University of North Texas, the junior finished in third place behind two unattached athletes with a throw of 53.72m (176' 3").
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year Jordan Ayala of Trinity threw a new personal best in the shot put of 13.89 meters at the David Noble Relays to make finals and place eighth.
