ZAC ASBURY OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior attacker from Thousand Oaks, Calif., has been named the SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 8 through Sunday, March 14.
Asbury led the Pirates with seven points in two games this weekend, scoring three goals and four assists. On Sunday, he surpassed Kai Knight-Turcan (222) as Southwestern's all-time career points leader at 225.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year midfielder/attacker Jordan Cook of Centenary scored a pair of goals in the Gents' road contest at Huntingdon on Friday, marking the first multi-goal performance of his career. The rookie also had two ground balls and a caused turnover.
