ANDERS ERICKSON OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior attacker from Lone Tree, Colo., has been named the SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Saturday, February 6 through Sunday, February 28.
In his first game as a Tiger, junior attackman Anders Erickson scored four goals and set up four others to power the Colorado College men’s lacrosse team to an 18-3 victory over Colorado State University Pueblo in the season opener for both teams on Feb. 21 at Washburn Field. On Saturday at Southwestern, Erickson scored three times and assisted on three others in CC’s 20-5 victory over the Pirates. Erickson leads the Tigers with seven goals, seven assists and 14 points.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior attacker Jacob Hamilton of Southwestern scored a career-high five goals in the season-opening 19-6 win against Hendrix College. He added another five scores in Sunday’s SCAC win at Centenary. Sophomore attacker Mark Temple of Centenary scored four of the Gents’ five goals in the 12-5 loss to Averett on Feb. 15.
