NATE BEERMAN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Reno, Nev., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 3 through Sunday, April 9. SCAC Men's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 10
Beerman rallied to defeat Diogo Manzano of Division II Colorado Mesa, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, at the No. 3 position last Saturday, picking up the only point the Tigers would garner in singles play. He also combined with junior Andrew Kaelin to win the No. 1 doubles match.
With Saturday's win, Beerman is 3-3 at the No. 3 spot this season.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Anton Borovik of Southwestern helped the Pirates pull out a 6-3 win against 13-2 Concordia (Tex.) on Wednesday evening. After dropping two points to the Tornados in doubles, Southwestern made up ground in singles thanks to Borovik who won his match at the No. 6 line, 6-4, 6-1.
